An open letter to the patients of North Main Family Practice

There is no doubt that we are all aware of the dangers posed by the Coronavirus. Needless to say, the disruption of our lives is extensive, and none of us are unaffected. In the upcoming months, much will be asked of us all. As your family doctor, I will continue to be available to provide for your medical needs. I have no plans to close my office for regular visits. However, some modifications of who should and should not be seen that setting are necessary. As part of my efforts to remain available to all, I have instituted telemed access for patients who are best not seen in person. This will require a computer or smartphone and will be billed to your insurance company like a regular office visit. Copays will continue to apply, and you will be asked to pay with a credit card at the time of service. However, an option for alternative billing will also be available. For patients without internet access, I will be available for phone consultation. If appropriate, office visits will be scheduled, and home visits will also be considered. Please remember that those of you with chronic medical conditions continue to need regular medical care, despite the restriction imposed by the pandemic. In the true spirit of family medicine, I urge you to contact my office now, to insure the proper management of your ongoing medical needs.

Sincerely,

Peter M. Corrado D
